By S.A. Renegade on November 4, 2014 in Guides

What be ups mah piggs in tha mud! I’m back behbeh. That’s right. You thought I was gone for good did you? You thought it wuz but it wuzn’t, now disappear!

Damn though, how has it already been 5 years since my original Bayonetta guide? Christ. A lot has changed since then. Mainly that now I’m all old n shit. And being old is not fun, lemme tell you. Y’all kids don’t know. Back in my day Youtube didn’t even have a widescreen option. That was all back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. But hey. Here I am, comin’ atchoo with a brand new guide, so why don’t you sit back, kick back, relax, and dive into this new game with me so we can relive the old days, just you and me. Together. Like we used to. Like a family.

So what’s this all about? Hwell. In this guide I’m gonna be telling you how to obtain ALL of the collectibles in this fuckin’ game. That’s right. All Broken Witch Hearts, Broken Moon Pearls, Crows, Angelic Hymns, Scraps of The Journal’s Echoes, and Muspelheims. In addition to the written guide I’ve also made videos to show you the precise locations of every one of these dang old things, including me doing the Muspelheims just as a bonus. So y’all niggaz best recognize.

You know how it do. 4 Broken Witch Hearts will raise your maximum health, and 2 Broken Moon pearls will raise your maximum magic. Once you have them all you will have 2 full health bars and 8 x 3 magic orbs. Well, not really. Aside from getting all of these you also need to buy all of the ones available at Rodin’s shop, so do keep that in mind. Don’t come here and tell me I missed some shit. And speaking of missed shit, this guide details how to obtain all of the collectibles in the game that you can pick up within the game world. I won’t be mentioning ones that are obtained by other means. For example, the final Journal’s Echoes is automatically obtained by beating the game, etc etc. So don’t come here being all like oh you missed this, that, and the third. I mean come on bruh. What are you doing?

So that’s how it is. Been a while huh? I may not have as much time as I used to but y’all know I got nuthin’ but love fo’ you. And I still got love for the streets. Let’s do this shit!

Chapter I: Noatun, The City of Genesis

The Journal’s Echoes #1: A New Beginning

Alright, stop. Bring it back, bring it back. Right from where you start this chapter, turn around and look towards the sea. The harbor has two piers that extend out to each side. Walk along the right hand side one until you get to the end and you’ll find this first notebook scrap. Pretty hard to miss.

Umbran Crow #1

Aight, so noticed how I said there were two piers in the previous entry? That’s ’cause there’s something else on the other one. Oooooh, dat foreshadowing nigguh! But yeah, from where you start the chapter, looking out towards the sea, walk along the pier to your left this time. At the very end you will find our very first crow. Just in case you’re not aware, crows fly off when you get nearby, so you have to be fast. Specifically, you need to be in panther form and run at them. Once you get near, mash on the Y button to nab it.

Broken Witch Heart #1

Hokay, look. Listen. This first witch heart is hidden in an extremely insidious place. The truth is that, if you’re just starting out, you can’t get this one right now. Yep. It sucks balls but that’s how it is. To be able to get this witch heart you need a new power called Snake Within. If you don’t have it yet, then ignore this entry for now, you’ll have to come back later. On the other hand, if you’re returning here after you’ve acquired Snake Within, then read on!

Back already eh? Good. As I said, this witch heart is insidious. Go back to where you found the first Journal. If you don’t remember where that is, just read the entry again. It’s like, what, a few inches above this one? Sheesh, how hard can it be to move your eyeballs up a little bit?! Anyway. Yeah. Go to the very end of that pier and dive into the sea right there. You’ll notice that there’s a broken section underwater here. Turns out that there’s a hidden passage underneath this. Turn into snake form and swim along the passage, and at the end you will find a ledge with an extremely hidden chest. This is the first witch heart, even though we had to wait a while until we could get it. Pretty damn sneaky if you ask me. Don’t forget to check out the video I made if you need a better idea of where this thing is hidden.

The Journal’s Echoes #2: Divine Retribution

Again, from where you start the chapter, walk up towards the sweet ass town plaza covered in water. Look towards the right and you’ll see some stairs leading up to a balcony overlooking said plaza. Get up there and run along the hallway. Halfway through it you’ll come across the second notebook.

Broken Moon Pearl #1

The first moon pearl is in the ghostly chest right in front of you after you grab the journal entry I just talked about above. It’s right there in front of you! However, to be able to open this chest you’ll have to play a little minigame where you have to grab 5 thingamajigs before time runs out. The camera will pan out to show you where they all iz, so ain’t no thang. Jump off the balcony and turn into a panther to grab them all before time runs out like I do in the video. Once that’s done don’t forget to actually go back and open the fucking chest! Sheesh, come on breh. Getcho head in the game.

The Journal’s Echoes #3: Unknown Entrance

From where you start the chapter, run up to the big plaza and keep going hugging the left wall until you get to the corner. The third notebook will be sitting here near a portal to Muspelheim.

Muspelheim 1: Broken Witch Heart #2

I don’t need to tell you where this is, right? It’s right there in front of you after you grab the notebook I just mentioned above! Open your eyes maaaaan. Anyway, this is our first Muspelhiem. Get in there and let’s do this.

Or not. This mission is a complete joke. It’s just one enemy and you have to kill it. That’s all. No tricks, no snags, no nothin’. It’s so easy you shouldn’t even get hit at all. I did ’cause I suck, but where’s your excuse? PKP combo works well but it honestly doesn’t matter. You can probably even just run in and torture for a quick kill but whatever. Just kill it already! For completing it you gain the next witch heart piece.

Umbran Crow #2

Damn why’s there so much shit in this plaza? Geeeeez. Anyway. The next crow is already over here. Anyway, from where you came out of that Muspelheim, check out the pillars around the pool here. On top of the pillar closest to us is the second crow. But he’s way too high up! That rascal! Well, the truth is, it’s pretty much impossible to get this crow without Crow Within, so if you’re just starting out I’d say just ignore this entry for now and return here after you’ve bought Crow Within from Rodin’s shop.

Oh you’re back already? That was quick. Aight, listen up. This one’s somewhat tricky. You’ll want to get up on the balcony overlooking the plaza on the right side. Turn into a panther and jump from the balcony over to where the crow is (you want to jump as panther for the added distance), and at the peak of the double jump turn into a crow and fly over to the crow. Don’t worry, this one isn’t as quick to fly away, so as soon as you touch the pillar where he’s standing wall jump up and just mash that Y button and you should grab it. Watch my video to see how it’s done. I mean that’s why I’m doing the videos in the first place nam sayin. Tryina give you niggaz all the help I can.

Broken Witch Heart #3

Oh you think we’re done in this place? Noooo sir. There’s an underwater chest in that pool I just talked about. Take a dip in the drink and open it up to reveal the next heart piece. It’s on the left side of the portal.

The Journal’s Echoes #4: Fragments of Memory

Open up the portal under that pool and go inside. The next journal is smack in the middle of that hallway. You’d have to be trying pretty hard to miss this one.

The Journal’s Echoes #5: Sealed Time

What?! Didn’t we just get one a couple seconds ago? Either way, right after you emerge from the previously discussed hallway, this next notebook is just to your left, also very hard to miss.

Broken Witch Heart #4

Right after the second verse fight, AKA the very first fight of the game not counting that fraudulent ass Muspelheim, take the crumbled stairs on the right side of the platform down to a chest over here, where you’ll find the fourth witch heart piece.

Muspelheim 2: Broken Moon Pearl #2

Again, from that platform I just talked about where you had the first fight of the game, this time take the stairs on the left side up. Keep running along the left side, don’t take the next set of stairs, and you’ll come across the second Muspelheim. Go inside and let’s see what we got this time.

Oh. Pretty much a normal fight. The only catch is that you only deal damage to enemies while in witch time but that’s not a problem. Just go and stand in front of them, wait till they swing and dodge to activate it. Once you’re in witch time you’ll want to deal as much damage in as little time as possible so I recommend going for PKP combos every time. Rinse and repeat and you’re done. Easy Moon pearl!

Broken Witch Heart #5

Ok this next witch heart is hidden in a completely asshole place. First of all, I need to tell you that if you’re just starting out, you will not be able to get this one just yet. It’s impossible. Just like the very first heart piece, you need Snake Within in order to get this. So if you don’t have it yet, just ignore this entry and come back later. Sucks, but I don’t need tell you that life isn’t fair, it doesn’t care, it arbitrarily cuts off your air.

Okay, you’re back? Awesome. Alright, listen up then. From the platform where you had the verse 2 fight, get over to the left side where the stairs are going up, you know, where you would progress in the chapter normally. But don’t go up the stairs. Instead, look underneath them. You’ll notice that there’s an inconspicuous looking opening way down below under those stairs. That’s where we need to go. Go into snake form and swim down there and through the opening. Inside, there will be a ledge above with the chest that contains this witch heart. Sheesh, who could possibly be asshole enough to hide this here? Ain’t you glad I’m here now? Where’s the love? But in all seriousness, if you need a better idea of where this thing is hidden, check out the video I made.

Muspelheim 3: Broken Witch Heart #6

You should be in the Cascade Foregrounds now. You know, the place where you meet Loki for the first time. Take a dip in the pool and go underneath the bridge on the left side. You’ll find the next Muspelheim here.

Nothing to say about this Muspelheim, another freebie with nothing special to it. I mean, sure, the timer may be a little shorter than normal but we weren’t planning on sittin’ around anyway. Just fight normally and win. Done.

Broken Witch Heart #7

Same place as above. From when you arrive in the Cascade Foregrounds, immediately run to the left hugging the wall here. You’ll find another of those remembrance coffins over here. This one’s got the next heart piece so activate it and grab the 5 pieces the game shows you. This time around you have AGES to stroll along and grab them all. Panther not even necessary. Not that you can even activate panther underwater, but I’m just sayin’ not even necessary outside of the water.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Entrance of the Gladiators

I shouldn’t even have to mention this, but since you could technically not pick it up… right after the fight when you meet Loki for the first time, this LP will pop up. Bout time we had something with a little more kick.

The Journal’s Echoes #6: Relics

This journal is RIGHT in front of the LP you just picked up, also right in front of the witch walk half pipe or whatever the fuck that thing is.

Umbran Crow #3

Immediately after the fight with Valiance, you will be in the church and you should easily spot this crow sitting on the handrail just in front of you. Turn into panther and grab him.

Muspelheim 4: Broken Witch Heart #8

Don’t jump off the chuch balcony just yet! Calm down! Geez! Walk to the right side of this balcony and you’ll find the next Muspelheim.

Alright, now we’re getting somewhere. This is a normal fight but you have to win without getting hit at all. Just the way I like it. Still, the enemies aren’t very tough so it’s not much of a problem. Just fight them however you want. You could probably even just run away and gun them down from a distance and never be in any danger of getting hit, or blow them away with quick wicked weaves. Either way, you get the eighth heart piece for this. Wait, eighth already?! That sounds like a lot and it feels like we barely started the game! Geez! Barely started and already workin’ me to the bone. But no need to pity me. I was bored anyways.

Broken Moon Pearl #3

Coming out of the previous Muspelheim, keep going to the end of this part of the balcony and you should see a chest on a rafter behind the bars. Okay, FINE, it’s not a rafter, it’s an arch. Whatever. You and your semantics. The chest is on top of the arch. To get to it, you have to jump to the left off the balcony and then weave towards the right over to it once you’re in the air. Remember to hold the jump button to hover and you should have no problems reaching it.

The Journal’s Echoes #7: Entry No. 001 and Witch’s Recipes

We got a two in one over here. After you save Loki from the wreckage he somehow got himself buried under, follow him through the door out the church. This notebook will be on your path here and you will receive both of these items when you pick it up.

Broken Witch Heart #9

Just to the left of where you get the Witch’s Recipes there’s a small room with a time coffin in it. Activate it and grab the 5 pieces that appear. You have plenty of time so no need to rush. You’re gonna have to jump for them but it’s not a problem. For the highest one you may want to use one of the walls and jump off of it to get a triple jump for added height. Once that’s done grab the ninth heart off the chest.

The Journal’s Echoes #8: Purification Grounds

There’s yet another journal here, in case you haven’t seen it yet. It’s on the right side of this same place where you got the 5 remembrance pieces. Man, how are any of these still intact considering you just picked them up off a pool of water? It is not clear.

Broken Witch Heart #10

After the verse 11 fight with Urbane, follow Mr. Yun Pants through the door and across the alley. When you get to the bridge, jump off to the left side into the water. There’s a hidden verse in here where you’ll fight an Accolade. Nothing major. Fuck him up and the tenth witch heart piece will appear above. Holy shit, we’re already a fourth of the way through on these and it’s just the first chapter? It’s too many too fast! Platinum plz.

And that’s all for the first chapter! Phew. Talk about a long one. The others won’t be quite as jam packed though.

Chapter II: A Remembrance of Time

Muspelheim 5: Broken Moon Pearl #4

From where you start the chapter, walk a bit forward and immediately turn right into a small alley. The next Muspelheim will be here.

This is the classic mission where enemies only take damage from angel arms. Unfortunately for them, angel arms are OP as fuuuuck nigga. There are three arms on the floor. I believe they respawn after you’ve used them all up but you shouldn’t need more than a single rotation to rape all these guys. I like to start with the spear because it fucks up the largest amount of bitches at once when they’re clumped up, which they will be right when they spawn. It’s up to you though, whatevs. I ain’t gonna tell you how to live your life. Once you’re done you’ll earn your fourth pearl piece.

Broken Witch Heart #11

Again, from where you start the chapter, you’ll notice there’s a canal full of water down the middle of the street. Dive in and run along the entire length of it underwater. At the end you’ll get to an opening where the gate has been broken. Go in and continue alllll the way through. You’ll reach some kind of underwater ruins. Mysterious shit. But anyway, take a right as soon as you can and you’ll find a coffin hidden here with the next witch heart. Incidentally, I kind of like Bayonetta’s running animation when she’s wearing Rakshasa. I dunno. Somethin’ about it.

The Journal’s Echoes #9: RULES OF NATURE!!!

This journal is sitting in plain view on the square where you fight the very first battle, not counting the Muspelheim. Before the pier, next to the billboard. You can’t miss this one, it’s Rules of Nature, which in my estimation makes this the most important journal of the game. Fuck me man, wish this game had music half as sick as Revengeance.

Umbran Crow #4

This crow is almost impossible to miss. Right after you get past the tidal wave with Loki, open the door to the prayer room or whatever this place is called. You’ll find the crow perched on some rubble right here. Jump over and grab it. Panther mode optional.

The Journal’s Echoes #10: Path of the Chosen

This journal entry is sitting just a few feet in front of the crow. Can’t miss this one either.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: William Tell Overture

This LP will appear after the verse 5 fight and once Loki has renovated this room’s ass. It’s out back by the door you came in from. Pick it up and trade it in asap! Kafka is cool as shit. Shooting muthafuckin bees is way cooler than bullets.

Muspelheim 6: Broken Witch Heart #12

This Muspelheim is nestled at the very end of the long witch walk up the room after the two fights back to back. It’s on the left side of the hole you jump down to progress. Go in.

Ahh, in this one you’re supposed to beat all the enemies in a “single combo”. Basically as long as the combo point tally on the right side of the screen is visible, the combo is considered to still be going. So you just have to make sure not much time passes without you hitting an enemy. Not too difficult, especially now that we have Kafka. In fact, a super easy way to beat this Muspelheim is to just sit there and spam PPPPP with Kafka until they all die. Or you can go with any combination you want. If you’re not using Kafka, shooting enemies works just as well when you need to keep the combo going in a pinch. Finish this and grab the next witch heart.

I think that’s all for chapter II. Hey, that wasn’t as much as Chapter I! Short and sweet, just how I like ’em.

Chapter IV: The Two Meet

The Journal’s Echoes #11: Sovereign

This journal is somewhat more hidden than the others. As soon as you start the chapter, there’s a relatively inconspicuous hole in the roof where Luka crashed. Move the camera above you to see it more clearly, and you’ll spot this notebook in the room below, so jump down and grab it!

Broken Witch Heart #13

Move along the rooftops from the start of the chapter to the big stone bridge, but instead of progressing normally to the right, jump to the other rooftops on the left. There’s a pretty visible chest on the last rooftop. Open the bitch up to obtain the next heart piece.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Der Holle Rache 1/2

This LP half will drop after you kill the Fidelity in the first verse. Yeah, yeah, it’s impossible to miss this unless you’re trying but I run a tight ship here son. If it’s pickable it’s going in here.

Muspelheim 7: Broken Witch Heart #14

Once the full moon comes out and you witch walk onto the cathedral (oh how convenient that the moon comes out at that split second. Convenient like a CONSPIRACY.) you’ll get into a fight. After that’s done, instead of running up along the building, run towards the right side of it. You’ll find the next Muspelheim hidden over here.

This is another mission where you have to kill everyone in a single combo. I’ve already explained how it works in the previous Muspelheim entry, so go read that one if you need a refresher. Aside from that, the only snag here is that one of the shield niggers spawns during the second wave. They’re somewhat annoying to deal with in that sometimes they’ll manage to block for just long enough to reset your combo. So the answer is, let’s not deal with that shit. You should’ve built up a full magic bar from killing the previous wave, so as soon as he appears just instakill him with a torture. Well, actually that only does like 90% of his health in damage, so you either need to hit him a couple times right as he spawns, or after the torture ends. Should be easy since he’ll be all crumple stunned. Once he’s out of the picture just mop up the rest of the pussies and grab your witch heart!

Broken Moon Pearl #5

Witch walk up the cathedral until you’re right side up again. There’s a remembrance chest behind one of the pillars on the left side of the door you’re supposed to go through to progress. Just circle around the place and you’ll find it easily. Activate it and grab the 5 pieces that appear. You should have zero problems since they give you a dogg’s age to grab them. You’ll find the fifth moon piece here.

Umbran Crow #5

After the big verse 5 fight, RIGHT as soon as you open the big door to get out of that room, you can spot a crow sitting on the telephone line like a smug motherfucker. To get this one, I recommend going in from the other side, the way I do in the video. Wall jump up to his height from far away enough that he doesn’t fly off, then turn into Crow Within and fly over to where he is. He will start flying off in the direction opposite the wall he’s closest to, so you’ll want to lead him by a little bit so that he’ll fly right into your path and you can grab him. Watch my video to see how it’s done.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Der Holle Rache 2/2

After the cutscene, keep going forward until you drop into a bunch of rubble and basically ruined buildings. The other half of this LP is sitting on the right side of this rubble. You can spot it easily coming in.

We done bitches! Movin’ on.

Chapter V: The Cathedral of Cascades

The Journal’s Echoes #12: City of Water

This entry is in the same island you’re on when you start the chapter. Just look over to your right. It’s right there.

Umbran Crow #6

From where you start off the chapter, run over to the left side of island, past the tree blocking your view. You’ll find a remembrance chest here, but we’ll get to that in a bit. Before that, if you look you can spot a crow sitting in the window of the dilapidated arch ahead of you. Turn into panther form a jump over there to claim the sixth crow!

Broken Witch Heart #15

Alright, now we can deal with the chest. Whaddya mean what chest?! The one I just mentioned 2 seconds ago! Don’t tell me you already forgot. Go read the previous entry again. Done? Cool. See, I ain’t lyin’. Anyway, activate the bitch and proceed to grab the 5 pieces. This time the camera doesn’t show us where the other 4 pieces are, which is a little strange, but no worries. Just look at my video if you really need to know where they are, but you should have no problem seeing them after you dive into the drink, especially because they give you a ton of time to get them. Use Snake Within to make grabbing all the underwater pieces a piece a cake. For your trouble you gain the next witch heart piece.

Muspelheim 8: Broken Witch Heart #16

Once again, from the island you start at (…feel like I’ve been saying that a lot), look towards the pool. You should see a set of bars ahead of you and a Muspelheim portal in a tiny island behind them. You see it right? Of course you do. So fly or swim over to that island and get inside!

This Muspel isn’t anything special. I mean, sure, witch time is disabled, but pffffft we don’t need that SHIT. Just pretend this is nonstop climax or something. The enemies are pretty weak too, so that helps. If you’re having trouble, which you shouldn’t, just go for a lot of wicked weaves to blow them away and knock them down so they don’t have much ability to retaliate. Either way, you’ll get the next heart piece off of this.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Erlkonig 1/2

Dive into the pool on the left side near where the remembrance chest was. Swim along the left wall and you will find a chest tucked away in a corner here. Open it up to get the first half of Erlkonig!

Broken Moon Pearl #6

Alright, there were a lot of things here but we’re ready to move on. Moving along the tunnel, when you come to the point where it drops down like a shaft, instead of continuing forward, let yourself drop down to the very bottom. As soon as you hit the floor down here, the third verse will activate. It’s just two fidelities, nothing major. Once you’re done pissing in their pool, the sixth pearl will appear for you right here.

Umbran Crow #7

Man this crow is just screaming to be found. He may as well be flying straight into our paws. As soon as you walk into the graveyard, you’ll spot him perched on the left pillar. Just grab him already!

The Journal’s Echoes #13: Underground Graveyard

And this notebook entry is just below that crow. Run down the stairs here and grab this one too.

Broken Witch Heart #17

Still in the graveyard, you should be able to see a chest way over on the far side from where you just grabbed the crow. Run along the outer rim of the area and open it up to reveal the next heart!

The Journal’s Echoes #14: Trademark

After shitting all over Pain, the graveyard will fill up with water. Turn into a snake and swim up. This journal entry is hover right smack in the middle of this shaft, about halfway up it.

Muspelheim 9: Broken Moon Pearl #7

Still in this same flooded shaft, keep going up, but before you surface, look around. There are some ledges very high up here. One of them has a chest with some rings, and another has a small room with a Muspelheim portal in it. This one’s what you’re looking for. It’s more or less above where Rodin’s gates of hell portal was down below.

Well now. The dreaded “don’t touch the floor” mission. Except this time there’s actually a bunch of pillars to stand on rather than nothing at all, so it’s actually really easy! Thank fuck that we don’t need to revisit the original game’s don’t touch the floor mission, especially since we don’t have Kulshedra this time around. Anyway, the only thing you have to worry about is making sure the enemies don’t destroy the pillars you’re standing on, which will happen when they attack you. I’d recommend going with very quick PKP wicked weaves to knock them back so they don’t get a chance to attack, followed by lots of Kafka spam to keep them away. Overall a pretty easy mission. Even if the enemies do manage to attack once, they probably won’t destroy the entirety of the pillars so you can still jump back on the remaining part and keep fighting. But anyway, this’ll give us the seventh pearl piece.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Erlkonig 2/2

After you surface out of the flooded graveyard and you’re in the huge cascade room, head to the side opposite the stairs. You’ll find a hallway with bars and some light coming from it. At the end of this hallway is the second half of Erlkonig! Finally! We get the coolest fucking weapon in the entire game. Awww yeh. In fact, I’d dive back into the graveyard just to turn it in if I were you. Bonus tip: you’ll also find a hidden verse this way.

Umbran Crow #8

Alright, now take the stairs up. See those half arches jutting out of the central tower? There’s a crow sittin’ pretty on top of the highest one. You don’t need to transform to get this one or anything, just jump over to where he is from the stairs. That’s the last one for this chapter.

Muspelheim 10: Broken Witch Heart #18

You can’t miss the entrance of this Muspelheim. It’s staring you right in the face as soon as you get to the top of the stairs. Now get in there and do me proud!

…just kidding. I ain’t proud a SHIT here ’cause this Muspelheim is a complete fuckin’ joke. I don’t even know what to tell you. Just do whatever you want and it’ll work out, trust me.

The Journal’s Echoes #15: Advanced Technology

Make sure you don’t just run right up to Loki without grabbing this journal. It’s a bit to the left just before you get to him. It’s not hidden or anything, but just sayin’.

And I believe we’re done with this chapter! Phew, this one was kinda jam packed too. Now, if you’ve been following this guide, do remember that we’ve just learned Snake Within in this chapter, so now’s a great time to return to chapter I and get those 2 witch hearts that were previously impossible. See, I’m even here giving you friendly reminders to do things so you don’t forget. That’s how I am, always lookin’ out for my niggaz. S.A. Carebear, that’s what they call me around the office.

Chapter VII: The Ark

The Journal’s Echoes #16: The Way to Paradise

Okay, this is probably the most hidden journal in the game. As soon as you start out the chapter, instead of going forward, turn around. You should see some rubble back here. Nothing special, right? WRONG. Hit the debris a few times to clear it and you will find this journal piece hidden underneath.

Umbran Crow #9

There’s a single sneaky crow hiding in this chapter. After the verse 2 fight where you meet Hatred, don’t leave that area just yet. Instead, look towards the right side of the room. You’ll notice that the wall slopes up gently here. You can actually walk up this part and go behind the pillars of flesh here, and this crow happens to be hiding behind the furthest flesh pillar on the right. He’ll fly away quickly, so go into panther mode and jump after him in order to catch him!

Muspelheim 11: Broken Witch Heart #19

After the verse 3 fight, don’t keep going forward. Look behind you, back towards the room where you fought Hatred. There’s a fork in the road here that isn’t as easy to see when you’re coming from that room, but is extremely visible when you’re coming from the other side. So, take the left road (i.e. the one that doesn’t lead back to the Hatred room) and at the end of this passage you’ll find this chapter’s single Muspelheim.

Chapter VIII: An Ancient Civilization

The Journal’s Echoes #17: A Seal

It’s right there in front of you when you start the chapter! Come on BRUH.

The Journal’s Echoes #18: Angels and Demons

What? Another one? Jesus, they’re not even hiding these anymore are they? They used up all their cards with the one hiding under the debris in the previous chapter and now they got nothing left! But anyway yeah, this one’s over on the right side of the doorway up the stairs right after the first fight.

Muspelheim 12: Broken Witch Heart #20

Alright, this Muspelheim’s somewhat hidden. After the first fight, don’t go through the doorway up the stairs just yet. Instead, notice how there’s a ledge with a chest to the left. Jump over here, either from the ledge with the doorway or from the stairs below. Here you’ll find a small room with a whole buncha pots along with the Muspelheim portal.

Man, why are Muspelheims so easy? Sheesh. Anyway, this is another mission where you can only defeat enemies with their weapons. The twist is this time instead of angel arms, you’ll be using infernal arms. Infernal arms aren’t quite as OP as angel I think… I mean just look at that shitty shield. Slow as shit and only good for one hit. What is that? Oh well. We’ll just have to make do. The gun is the best one I think. It’s a little bit slow too but damn does it rape. You do have to use all of them though, and it’ll take more than 1 rotation of the arms to win since there’s more than one wave. It’s not a big deal though, just do whatever and you should win with no problems.

Addendum: When I came back to process this video I found that itwas corrupted for no reason because OF COURSE everything always conspires against me. So I had to go back and do it all over again, and that’s why the heart doesn’t show up in the video. Fuck my life dude.

Broken Witch Heart #21

There’s still something in this place! If you check out the left side of this ledge before going into the room with the pots and the Muspelheim, you’ll notice that there’s a place you can jump down to below. Do so, and you’ll find an open passageway running beneath this building. At the end of this is the chest that contains the next witch heart.

Umbran Crow #10

This crow is sitting in the big arena where you fight Golem. You can nab it before the fight, actually. It’s perched on the handrail to the left when you’re coming in. This one doesn’t seem to fly away that quick so you can run up to him normally and jump to get it.

The Journal’s Echoes #19: Garden of God

When you enter Paradiso for the first time, you’ll spot this journal sitting in the ledge furthest below from the one you start. Just jump down to grab it.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: The Harmonious Blacksmith 1/3

This LP piece will drop after you win the verse 5 fight where you meet Allegiance, so you really can’t miss it but I’m putting it here anyway for your convenience.

Broken Moon Pearl #8

Oh you thought we were done here?! Think again! Before you leave the Eternal Square, there’s a hidden pearl we gotta pick up. It’s behind the big ornate door on the far end here. Yeah. We kick that ostentatious thing open expecting some kind of grand cathedral or throne room and what do we get? A tiny fucking walk-in closet. Clearly god has way too much money. We’d take his designers clothes but there’s only a moon pearl here, so we’ll take what we can get.

The Journal’s Echoes #20: Guardian

Oh what? How did this get here? Luka you sneaking rascal! Show yourself! Anyway, this’ll be sitting in the middle of the Golem arena after you come back out of Paradiso.

Broken Moon Pearl #9

This pearl kinda sucks because you only have a small window to grab it and it can be easily missed. It’s inside one of the gems you can break when you make the jump to the hell’s gate. Watch my video to know exactly which one it is, but you can easily spot it because it’s a different color from the rest of the gems. This one’s purple whereas the rest are blue. Make sure you blow through that purple gem and you’ll receive the moon pearl that’s inside.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: The Harmonious Blacksmith 2/3

Alright, now this piece of the Harmonious Blacksmith can be missed if you’re not careful. When Loki opens the second portal to Paradiso, don’t go into it because you won’t be able to come back and get this piece. The LP is in the hallway behind the portal. In order to get it you have to jump in the air to the right and then hover around the portal and weave back into the hallway behind it. There’s also a hidden verse here after you pick up the LP.

Umbran Crow #11

The other crow of this chapter can be missed if you’re not careful. After you enter the second portal to Paradiso and win the first fight there, follow Loki into the flooded church but don’t dive into the water. Look up above and you’ll see this guy perched on the alcove above! He won’t fly away, so just jump up there and grab him.

Muspelheim 13: Broken Moon Pearl #10

Now dive into the flooded church. Moving through the hall towards the big blue orb, you’ll pass a room on the right with a lollipop, don’t go into this one but instead keep going to the second one on the right side. Look up at the wall here and you’ll see this Muspelheim portal up there. You need to go into snake mode and swim up to it in order to go inside.

So alright, we’ve got the second don’t touch the floor mission! This one is slightly tougher than the previous one but it’s not too bad. You’ll face a Catchet and Compassion followed by a Fidelity. Catchet is a bitch and loves to break the pillars with his bullshit swords and drills so you’ll want to keep him as stun locked as possible with quick PKP wicked weave spam. Don’t move from the pillar you start out in, just whiff the first two hits so that your wicked weave keeps knocking him back over and over. They’ll waste time flying back towards you, which is good for you because it gives you time to keep whiffing those first 2 hits and keep him away with the third one. Keep doing this and you should be able to kill him without him being able to destroy any pillars. Once that’s done the Fidelity will spawn behind you. This guy’s attacks are less likely to destroy the pillars so he’s less of a problem. Use the same strategy against him with a quick PKP to stun him. At this point you can use the opportunity to jump to a farther pillar if you feel more comfortable with some distance but it’s not really necessary. Watch my video if you wanna see how I did it. Either way, the tenth pearl is yours after this!

Broken Witch Heart #22

Advance to the big church room with the giant blue orb. Before you pick that up, turn into a snake and swim up to the balcony above. You’ll find a chest up here on the right side with the next heart piece.

Muspelheim 14: Broken Witch Heart #23

Welp, this one’s easy to spot. As soon as you arrive in the ruins of lost memory just look to the left underneath the spiral staircase. Well. There it is.

This is another mission where you have to keep the combo going throughout the whole thing. You know how it works by now, there’s nothing different here aside from the types of enemies. Just make sure you don’t let much time pass between hitting stuff and you’ll be fine. I really like Chernobog because it hits so many enemies at the same time but it’s up to you. As always, shooting enemies with either your gun or Kafka is a cheap and easy way to keep the combo going even when you’re far away so remember to do that. Pick up the witch heart piece and we outta here!

Broken Witch Heart #24

This is another one of those shitty pieces that you only have a few seconds window to get and if you don’t you’ll miss it. After the final verse when you’re making the last jump to the hell’s gate, this heart is hidden in one of the gems littered along the path. Watch my video to see which one it is, but you can spot it because it’s a different color than the rest of the gems. This one’s red and the others are blue. So make sure you crash through the red gem and you’ll get this shitty heart.

PHEW. Why did it feel like that chapter had so much stuff? But we’re done here baby. Onward and forwards!

Chapter IX: The Gates of Hell

Muspelheim 15: Broken Witch Heart #25

This Muspelheim is pretty easy to spot. After the fight at the beginning when you get to the building full of pillars, you’ll easily spot this portal on the right side.

This is another timed battle. You’ll first be facing two Hideous with guns along with a Malicious. Nothing too difficult. You’ll want to kill the Malicious first so that he can’t power up the other guys, as this makes the fight take longer. Stay alert for any Hideous gunshots coming your way, you can see them about to shoot you by the big red streak on the floor but wait until you hear the sound cue to dodge, otherwise you’ll do it too early. Once you take out these guys a Greed will appear and he’s more difficult to kill than them, but fortunately you’ve built up a full magic orb from the previous fight so you can just stroll on up to him and instakill him with a torture! This is the easiest way to do it so make sure you don’t use up your magic in the previous wave. Alright, pick up the heart piece and let’s move on.

Incidentally, the original video I made of this Muspelheim got corrupted for no fucking reason, so I had to go back and do it AGAIN. Jesus H. Christ I lead a cursed life.

Broken Moon Pearl #11

Siiiiigh now I’m pissed off. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh. Anyways. There’s also a remembrance chest with a moon pearl in this building. It’s located just to the left of where Loki opens the portal. Activate it and the game will show you the 5 pieces you have to pick up. The timer is a little short so you’ll probably want to use panther form at least a little bit to run faster. It’s still not much of a problem though.

Umbran Crow #12

Finally, there’s also a crow here. You might’ve already seen it since we’ve been running around a lot here. It’s sitting on the leftmost pillar of the very first row when we’re coming in. He’s on the spot where it’s broken. Just jump up and grab it.

Umbran Crow #13

After you get through the Glittering Passage and you’re back in the ruins of lost memory, immediately turn around. The other crow of this chapter is laughing behind your back right here, are you just gonna take that shit? Use Panther Within and teach him not to step to you!

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: The Harmonious Blacksmith 3/3

Now, follow Loki up the ledges but when you get to the green crystal (wait, they’re green! I can’t believe I said they were blue before! I swear I’m not colorblind, I just wasn’t paying attention, that’s all), look over to the left. You’ll see a pathway down below. Jump down here and keep going forward along it. At the very end you’ll reach the final piece of this LP.

Chapter X: The Depths

The Journal’s Echoes #21: Overseer of Inferno

This notebook is right in your path as you make your way towards that dangerous looking tornado. Nothing more to say ’bout this.

Muspelheim 16: Broken Witch Heart #26

This portal’s right in the beginning of the chapter. Instead of taking the path towards the tornado, take the other path to the left instead. You’ll find it over here.

This is another one of those missions where witch time is disabled. Nothing too special about it, the enemies are pretty easy as well as it’s only 2 Hideous and a Malicious. Normally I’d go for the Malicious first but honestly the power up he gives to the other guys mainly affects the length of witch time and since it’s disabled here it’s not as big of a deal anymore. I’d go for the 2 Hideous since the Malicious will mostly leave you alone while it’s giving its buff. Once you’re through with them you’ll even have enough magic built up to just instakill the Malicious no problem! See, easy. And for this we get another heart.

Umbran Crow #14

After the verse 2 fight, instead of progressing towards the tornado, go to the right. You’ll see another set of floating platforms. This crow is sitting on the next one over. It’s a little far so you’ll have to jump as panther to make it and then quickly mash that Y button before it flies away.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Matthaus-Passion O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden 1/3

What the fuck is this chinese gibberish? Too long clanky, TOOO LAWWWWNG. But anyway, keep moving along the platforms past where you got the crow, jump up the cliff where you see a chest but instead keep going towards the left and jump over to a clearing out here. As soon as you get to the center you’ll activate a hidden verse. Kill the two Greeds that appear here and this LP piece will pop up. That’s the first one!

Broken Witch Heart #27

This is another one of those hearts that you only have a few seconds to get and can be easily missed. It’s obtained during the verse 4 free fall towards the tornado. After brief respite with the fog, when you’re falling through the serpent tunnel, there will be a piece of rock halfway through that gets broken revealing this heart. In order to get it, as soon as you see the rock come into view, just hold the stick in the up and right position the whole way through. This’ll ensure that you pick it up, although you’re moving so fast that it takes a while for it to catch up to you so watch out for that, don’t necessarily think that you didn’t get it just because it takes a while to register!

The Journal’s Echoes #22: Balance

Can’t miss this, it’s right smack in the middle of your path after you cross the tentacle after this Phantasmaranae fight.

Broken Moon Pearl #12

Uh oh, this pearl is tucked away in a sneaky spot! After the fight where you meet Resentment, walk over to the tentacle eye and look towards the left. You’ll see a path here leading towards a chest. Jump over there and open it up to get this pearl.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Matthaus-Passion O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden 2/3

Alright, again from the place where you fought Resentment, this time look over to the right. You will see a chest above on a rise of land. Jump over here and keep going along this path. At the very end you will see the second of the blurgh bloo blargl pfargtl LP. This’ll trigger a fight with 2 Resentments so stay crispy!

Muspelheim 17: Broken Witch Heart #28

Once you take the tentacle after the first Resentment fight to the next island, you should be able to easily spot this portal when you’re coming in from above. It’s just over to the left once you get there.

This is another mission where you’re supposed to win without taking any hits. It’s really easy though because it’s only one Greed. That’s it! Nothing more. Just fight and avoid his attacks as you normally would, you shouldn’t have any problems since you can focus entirely on just him. It’s much easier than the 2 Greeds we fought at the same time a while back. Grab the heart and get outta there.

Umbran Crow #15

WAIT. Hoad up. The other crow of this chapter is right here! After you come out of the Muspelheim portal, check out the rock right next to you. This little guy is sitting on top of it. You know what to do.

Angelic Hymns Gold LP: Matthaus-Passion O Haupt voll Blut und Wunden 3/3

Now, from this rock where you just got the crow, look back where you came from and you’ll notice there’s a fork in the road. The left path (i.e. not the one you came from) takes you to another tentacle. Hit it and take it to another island where you’ll trigger a fight with a Pain. After winning, open the chest behind him for the final piece of this LP! Now we can finally engage in some good old deforestation.

Broken Witch Heart #29

After the fight where you meet Sloth for the first time, look towards the right of the arena and you’ll spot one a them ghosty chests. Activate it and the game will show you the 5 pieces scattered throughout the previous tentacle that you used to get to this island. You’ll have to run fast with Panther to get there, the timer is relatively short. Be careful about going so fast that you zoom past any pieces like I did though! If you wanna be safe you may want to detransform before you get to a piece to control yourself better. But whatevs man. Just get ’em, get back to the chest, and claim your heart piece.

Broken Witch Heart #30

Keep advancing past the remembrance chest we just opened and you’ll get to a clearing where you’ll trigger a fight with two Malicious and a Sloth! I mean… Sloths are already pretty strong but fighting one doped up on 2 Malicious? Dats a problem maing. However, if you have 2 full magic orbs you can take the easy way out by instakilling them both so that you’re left alone against the Sloth. Easy. Once you’re done skullfucking him the 30th witch heart will appear!

And I believe that’s all for this chapter, so you can go ahead and beat it now!

Chapter XIII: Vigrid, City of Deja Vu

Broken Witch Heart #31

When you open the door to the room with all the witches running at you, stop for a moment and look up above. There’s a balcony that you can get up to with a triple jump, and here you’ll find this witch heart! Hey, wasn’t there also a witch heart in this exact same place in the previous game? Deeeeum dat throwback. We got dem veteran knowledge perks.

Broken Witch Heart #32

Now, instead of following the witches, run through the corridor they came running out of. At the end of it you’ll find a chest with yet another heart! That’s two in like 10 seconds. We on a roll!

The Journal’s Echoes #23: Shadow on Vigrid

Now you can follow the witches. This journal is right on the path down to get to the fountain square, and…

Umbran Crow #16

The first crow of this chapter is just right in front of this perched on the stone…thingy…indentation…whatever! I don’t know what it is, just grab the damn thing!

Muspelheim 18: Broken Witch Heart #33

Now, visit the gazebo on the left side of fountain square. The next portal to Muspelheim is here.

Wait, what’s going on here? It’s just a single Applaud! Is this some kind of joke? You probably already beat it before I even finished this sentence! Anyway, just equip Salamandra and cut da bitch. He can’t even do shit to you. Seriously he canNOT do SHIT to you.

The Journal’s Echoes #24: Where Darkness Falls

Yet again another journal that is right in your path and impossible to miss. Why do I even bother? Anyway, it’s just before you make the water walk past the waterfall.

Broken Moon Pearl #13

After jesus walking past the waterfall, if you keep going straight you’ll come across a ramshackle wooden door. Kick it down and go inside the smallroom where you’ll find the chest containing this moon pearl.

Umbran Crow #17

Okay this is the most asshole crow in the game. Screw you, crow. FUCK you. He’s located at the end of the bridge when you first get to the lava place. The one that crumbles as you run through it. The gay thing about this crow is that as soon as the bridge crumbles he immediately flies away and leaves PERMANENTLY. So in order to catch him you have to get to him before the bridge has been destroyed. That means before witch time ends or at the very least a couple seconds afterwards.

To do that, you’ll want to prime the statue but not activate it immediately. While it’s primed, run up along the bridge and then activate witch time RIGHT before you get to where the lava splashes on the bridge. As soon as you do that, go panther and run as fast as you can along the bridge. Remember that it will be crumbling as you run through it so remember to jump the pits but don’t stop running. The crow will be sitting at the very end of the bridge and if you were fast enough you’ll be able to nab him just before the fucker flies off. Good work. If you need a better idea of how to do this take a look at my video. That’s why I do it y’know.

Broken Witch Heart #34

Alright, when you get to the gigantic fiery area with the equally gigantic statue, just past Rodin’s gates of hell, before you follow Rosa up the first set of stairs, check on the left side of them. You’ll find a chest here, but this isn’t the chest you’re looking for. Keep going past it and look down below the cliff. You’ll see another set of ledges you can drop down to. You’ll find the real chest down here, and it’s got the next heart.

Broken Witch Heart #35

After the fight with Glory and Grace, look towards the gigantic statue but don’t jump up to it yet. You’ll notice a chest way out on another ledge further beyond it straight ahead. The problem is that this statue falls down towards the right as soon as you land on it, so you have to make the jump to that chest very fast as it’s tipping over. Jump over to the second ledge and quickly turn into panther to run and make the jump. Crow probably works too. But either way, pop that bitch open for witch heart numba 35.

Umbran Crow #18

Once you’re past the fire and falling statue of death and go inside the big chapel room, look over to the left. The third and final crow is all sitting inconspicuously by the windowsill over here. You can miss it if you’re not looking closely. Anyway, jump over and catch it. Dang, this is the 18th. We’re almost done.

Muspelheim 19: Broken Witch Heart #36

Exit the chapel and you’ll come to a hallway full of bars on either side. The portal to this muspelheim is behind the bars on the right. Keep going all the way to the end of the hall and then turn right to slip behind the bars, then go back to where the portal is.

This one’s another angel arms mission. They’re still as strong as ever so we got this in the bag. The bow that spawns closest to you is good for taking out the pesky Decorations. And the pole as always is just a straight up RAPE machine so use that whenever you want to instant win. Anyway, it’s whatever dude. Easy street, just get it over with to win the 36th heart.

This was another big one but we’re now done and done with this chapter. We’re closing in on the end of these collectibles so let’s just hang tight for a little bit longer and we can make it.

Chapter XIV: The Witch Hunts

The Journal’s Echoes #25: A Witch’s Ultimate Weapon

Yeah, yeah, don’t worry, we’re almost done with these journal entries. As usual this one is easy to spot, a bit to the right of your path when you start the chapter.

Broken Witch Heart #37

Just because we’re all meched up don’t mean there ain’t no hearts to get! (but it does mean no crows… luckily for them) Walk over to where Rosa is standing shooting incessantly for no reason but don’t join her just yet. A bit behind her and to the left there’s a coffin in front of a ruined building. Punch it and you’ll gain the one heart of this chapter!

Broken Moon Pearl #14

After the verse 2 fight in the big square, don’t just keep advancing forward. Look behind from where you came from and you’ll see a chest up on a ledge to the right of the doorway. Jump up there and pop it open to get one of the pearls from this chapter.

Muspelheim 20: Broken Moon Pearl #15

Well whaddya know, another portal that’s in plain fuckin’ view. Advance
past the verse 2 square and through the street and you’ll find it just to
the right of the gigantic door.

I’ll admit, being meched up makes for an interesting twist on the usual Muspelheim fare. And by interesting twist I mean let’s put some niggaz on they backs! The timer for this mission starts out exceedingly short, but that’s no problem at all for the ridiculous damage output we got right now. You’ll start out against a Glory and Grace and some Applauds and whatevs. Since all of your attacks make them flinch dodging isn’t particularly necessary here, basically what you want to do is just not give them any breathing room and kill them as fast as possible.

In order to do this you’ll want to be hitting them constantly, and I recommend going with PKPKPKPKPKP~ ad naseum. The crazy thing about alternating between P and K like that is that there’s no delay or recovery between the attacks, unlike PPP or KK etc, which have a lot of recovery at the end before you can start the next series. PPKPPKPPK~ also works by the way. Also, don’t hold down the buttons to shoot bulets. While this does a ton of damage, our main goal is just to keep all of them from doing anything, and shooting tends to leave you in place for a little too long so it’s not as good against multiple enemies.

Either way, once those pussies are out of the picture, da big one will appear, but he’s no problem either as your attacks still make him flinch just as much, preventing him from doing anything. Here you can hold down the buttons to shoot him for more damage, and also remember that you’ve built up a full magic bar so activate umbran climax to make it even more hopeless for him. Grab your moon pearl and we’re done with this chapter!

Chapter XV: Truth

Umbran Crow #19

Woah. Action packed start to this chapter. I like it. After you’re done kicking Loptr’s ass and arrive at the lost holy grounds, immediately search behind you. The penultimate crow is hiding back here, but the platform slopes downward so you may not see him unless you move the camera or jump or get closer. But trust me he’s there. Go into panther mode and catch him.

Broken Witch Heart #38

After the fight with Grace and Glory, don’t go inside the brightly lit gate. Instead, take the path to the left of it. You’ll find a hidden verse here but keep going allll the way to the end of this path and you will find the final memory chest of the game. Activate it and you’ll see the pieces appear way up on the pillars. To get up there, double jump up to the arch where the first piece is and then wall jump off of it to get on top. Then just panther jump over to the next pillars grabbing all the pieces. Crow Within helps for this, but did you know that it’s actually not necessary? Is true! You can make all of the jumps with Panther alone! But it’s whateva dogg. It’s much chiller on Crow. Anyway, get back and open the chest to receive the 38th heart piece!

Muspelheim 21: Broken Witch Heart #39

You probably see the portal to this muspelheim coming here. Just look over to the left of the previously talked about chest and you will see it. So what are you waiting for? Come on, get in there! Get in! Squiiiish!

The last don’t touch the floor mission. This time there’s only one tiny pillar to stand on, but it really isn’t a problem at all as it’s still very easy. You’ll start against a bunch of Decorations. You can off them immediately just by doing a spin attack. Once they’re dead a big guy will spawn and immediately destroy the pillar. But it really doesn’t matter. He’s so huge that it’s way too easy to stay in the air by jumping on his head. Plus, he’s so big and stupid that his attacks can’t even hit you if you’re above him. Alruna is pretty good at keeping you high up in the air while hitting him. Just jump on his head and spam those air Alruna attacks, when you’re starting to come lower just jump on him again and repeat. There’s no need to even dodge since he can’t hit you up there. Also remember that you can hover to close the distance towards him in case he backs off. Whatever MAING. This muspelheim ain’t shit.

After winning you can claim the penultimate witch heart and that’s all for this chapter. Aww snap son. We almost done. I can taste the finish line.

Chapter XVI: Sovereign Power

The Journal’s Echoes #26: An Audience With…

Alright, we’re here dogg. It’s the end. This is the last journal entry (well, not really. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN), and it’s sitting in plain view as soon as you land on Fimbulventr. Grab it and…

Muspelheim 22: Broken Moon Pearl #16

Don’t follow Balder into the building just yet, look over behind you and
to the right and you’ll spot the final Muspelheim of the game. I wonder if
if we’re getting a suitable challenge to mark the end?

Nooooope. The mission consists in fighting a single Allegiance. Just one! Of course the catch is that you can’t get hit but that’s no problem at all. There’s a lot of ways to go about this but my favorite is using Takemikazuchi because these guys love to parry your attacks, which is a little annoying, but if you hit them with a fully charged Takemikazuchi not only will they not be able to parry it and get their shit WRECKED, but they will also not be able to parry any of the incoming hits of the revved up hammer. Also it’s funny to bury their face like an ostrich.

Remember that you can keep charging even while you dodge, so even if he tries to hit you before you’re fully charged, simply dodge and then let go of the button to body him. Then do a full combo on him and repeat. It’ll only take 2 of these series to kill him, so it’s pretty fast.

Once that’s done you get the 16th and final pearl of the game! You should now have 3 full magic bars provided you also bought all of the ones Rodin was selling. I can understand if you didn’t though. Them prices are exorbitant.

Broken Witch Heart #40

There’s one last thing out here. This time check out back to the left of the doorway. You’ll see that part of the path has been destroyed, but there’s still some left past it. Jump over and keep going to the end, where you will find the chest containing the 40th and FINAL broken witch heart of the game. You should now have 2 full bars of health, but I mean, who can really afford all those hearts over at Rodin nam saiyen?

Umbran Crow #20

And finally, the last crow. Mistah twenty, where the fuck you at? Follow Balder up the stairs and keep an eye on the top of the columns on the sides as you make your way up. The final crow is sitting on top of the penultimate column on left side. Keep going up the stairs until they end, then from up there, jump as high as you can and turn into a crow and fly on over there. This guy knows his place and won’t fly away, so you won’t have any problems nabbing him.

That marks the last collectible item in the game. Congratulations to you my friend on getting everything, but most of all congratulations to me for doing all this fucking thankless work. Sheesh.

And there you have it! Every single collectable item in this game. All 40 witch hearts, all 16 moon pearls, all 20 crows, all 22 Muspelheims, all… however the fuck many LPs and journal entries there were. Geez, that’s a lot of things.

But god I’m too old for this shit. I needa like retire to my cabin in Tahoe forever. But you know how it is man. Sometimes you just gotta do stuff for old times’ sake you know? I’m not gonna pretend like this guide was as much work as my crazier full guides of yore, but even still damn I’m tired. Been a bumpy road making this guide. Lotta obstacles and bullshit all around. Had like 3 video files get corrupted on me and was forced to redo them again. But what’s done is done. Now I can go back to my lazy ways as it was meant to be. In any case, thanks for reading along. If this guide was helpful to you and you liked it, I’m glad. If not, well, fuck you. I’m out.
